CSR/ESG Projects

Pharmacies and the pharmaceutical industry have been pioneers in implementing sustainability and social responsibility measures. As a key event for the pharmacy sector, we aim to highlight the pharmaceutical industry’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Infarma will feature a dedicated space showcasing ESG/CSR initiatives from exhibitors. All Infarma exhibitors can submit their projects, and the Infarma Organising Committee will select the most outstanding ones. These selected initiatives will be displayed to all attendees during the event.

If you are an exhibitor and wish to submit your application, the details of the call for proposals are outlined below.

1. As part of Infarma’s initiatives to promote event sustainability, the organisers will set up a specific area to showcase initiatives related to the environment, sustainability, and social responsibility in the industry.
2. Projects may be submitted by laboratories and companies participating as direct exhibitors at Infarma Barcelona 2025. Applications must pertain to projects and initiatives carried out by the exhibitor themselves.
3. Applications must refer to projects implemented during 2024 or the first quarter of 2025.
4. The application documentation must include the following information:
   1. Project title
   2. Exhibitor name and stand
   3. Category:
      1. Environmental sustainability
      2. Inclusion and social responsibility
   4. Field of action
   5. Specify the Sustainable Development Goals the initiative contributes to and how it does so
   6. Project description
   7. Optionally, images or videos may be included to support and explain the initiative
5. Applications must be submitted by sending all required and optional documentation to the email address infarma@closerstillmedia.com by Friday, 7 February 2025.
6. The Infarma Organising Committee will select the initiatives and projects to be showcased in the sustainability area at Infarma Barcelona 2025 and will communicate its decision to all applicants.
7. For presentation in the sustainability area, exhibitors whose applications are selected must choose one of the following options. In all cases, the presentation must include a description of the action taken, the objectives set, key data, and results achieved.
   1. Presentation in a video lasting between 1 and 3 minutes, with a vertical 9:16 format.
   2. Poster-style presentation in vertical 9:16 format submitted as a high-resolution PDF document or image.
8. Final presentations must be sent by 10 March 2025 to the email address infarma@closerstillmedia.com.
9. For any circumstances not covered in these guidelines, the Infarma 2025 Organising Committee will adopt the solution it deems appropriate.
